A brief history.....

I've been working on improving my drawings recently and thinking about what to do with my doodles. I have done a couple of cartoon strips to illustrate historical events or characters.

I was inspired by by daughters school topic of the 'Great Fire of London' and armed with her text book I came up with this:

Having got the bit between my teeth I moved on to my eldest daughters school project of 'The Tudors" and did one all about Henry VIII:

I'm just starting another, and will post the finished one soon.

I'm back!

Review of the year

Well, my plan to post a picture for every day of Advent failed miserably after an attack of the lurgy. Anyway here's our now traditional Review of the Year.

I spent a lovely morning with the four year olds of Reception class at Stratton School on Friday. What great fun, and some real budding artists and illustrators in the making
